Brief Annotation: A young woman named Settareh, “Star” lives with her stepmother, stepsisters, aunts, and cousins. Although she has family surrounding her, she is still very lonely. She is constantly teased by her stepsisters for her undeniable beauty. Her family is invited to a royal event to celebrate the New Year. While her sisters and her are at the market, Settareh purchases a plain, blue jug that will change her life forever.
