The Cat in the Hat Comes Back
Seuss, Theodor. (1958). The cat in the hat comes back. Illus. Theodor Seuess. New York, New York: Random House.
Dr. Seuss's lovable cat is back and up to no good! The bow-tie cat is disturbing Sally and her brother from their chore of shoveling snow. He makes a mess by eating cake in the tub and leaving behind a stain that somehow creeps all through the house. The children are frantic and want it cleaned before mother gets home! The helpful cat is to the rescue but unfortunately, only makes matters worse! This is a favorite of the Dr. Seuss books.
