Gingerbread Baby

Brief Annotation: A story of a mother and son who are making a gingerbread man, but before the dough has time to finish cooking the boy peaks in the oven. The story follows the Gingerbread baby as the family chases him. While the Gingerbread baby is getting into shenanigans, the boy is building a gingerbread house for the baby to live in. Although no one else can capture the baby, the baby soon finds comfort in the house made for him.

Response/Rating (1-4): *** Gingerbread baby is a cute book. I can’t see myself reading it over and over again. I enjoyed the ending because the boy outsmarted everyone else.
